48th Hiking Day

Let's see where I will stay today. No rain. Majestic songs in the head from "Cats", "Memory" and "The addressing of cats". How is it possible that Andrew Lloyd Webber has landed that many hits in apparently very short intervals? Also I just heard a funny story from Ji Su. How he ended up here on the Camino after 12 days in a relationship (also Korean). They have been together for 7 days now and want to meet again in León and Santiago. However, there are three problems: his girlfriend walks with her older sister, who doesn't like Ji Su and who doesn't know anything about their relationship. 2. Ji Su is 32 years old and she is 11 years younger. 3. In South Korea both live 5 hours apart. It feels like a soap opera. It is getting into his head too. He didn't actually walk the Camino to find a girlfriend. But there you have the women, the salt in the soup. I know this feeling when they lead you off track and you want to redirect yourself into new channels immediately and voluntarily. Well, also interesting if you don't have anything to do with it. I can go on untroubled. Ji Su cannot. For me simply other paths are determined. Just have a little trust in God und what comes next.

"The broken healer." Like the shaman. Nice one, Erik. It has a ring to it.

Just had a stop in Sahagún and visited the sanctuary. After all, the museum was in English and very interesting, just far too little exhibition for so much space. Overall, I missed a bit of this pilgrimage atmosphere in Sahagún. After all, it was and is an important place. I mean, half of the Camino is finished there. Also I am calm inside and want to continue to trust in God. Trust in God. Can that be my wish for today? Yes, it can. Just that, nothing else. I want to try it.
