47th Hiking Day

Ended up in a place called ... something with Templerados today. Today I finished the 17 km monster stage. With wind and rain. And this time there was no stopover. Now I sit here with Erik and Steffi. Erik (from Belgium) plays guitar to my left. Or at least he's trying. He's carrying the guitar all the way. Now he's starting to sing too, half a meter to my left. Not too bad at all. Very nice after such a rainy day. He also asks interesting questions: "Which ingredients would you take to the next job?" I haven't seen it that way before. I still see myself in the reactive position. Interesting approach which I had not on my mind. I'll have to think about the question tomorrow while walking. Apart from that we have heating and an oven. Steffi, who quit her job after 11 years, makes a very warm impression on me. Has probably been through a lot. God, I wish everyone all the best. Have a little trust in God. You are sitting here with wonderful people. What a nice way to end this day. I saw a part of the old group again today. Meg waved into the bar for a moment, Bryce was there, Rasmus, from whom I could at least get a nod today, Eric, the fire fighter, Daniel, but I met him yesterday. What a pleasant evening. The laundry is washed and dried for us. Tranquillo, colleague. Everything will probably turn out to be fine in the end. I have run out of great philosophical thoughts. But sometimes it's nice to let your mind wander, to have a couple of beers and to listen to the beautiful guitar play.
