3rd Hiking Day

What impresses me the most is the hospitality and generosity of these wonderful people. 20 km today were more exhausting than 32 km yesterday. Overall good. Starting to like the cheese. Ate an excellent sausage yesterday, afterwards cheese platter. Happiness and unhappiness are close-by.

Jean-Michèl and Anna. I know exactly (at least I think I know exactly) how great this tension is in a relationship. Moreover, I know what it is like when one person tells a great story after another and you sit next to the group, rather small. How insignificant you feel. One loud, one quiet. Despite this tension, it somehow worked out. Tonight I was glad that I was able to sit beside it, indifferent and with a view from the outside. But I also envy Jean-Michèl. In the end, that's exactly what I need: loud and quiet.

PS. I have this Lincoln feeling again. Alone and aloof. By the way, I'm in St.-Alban-sur-Limagnole.
