24th Shitty Hiking Day

On the way from Eauze to Nogaro. Just bought my breakfast from two bakeries and a "tobacco" shop. Only problem: nowhere coffee. Without coffee I have a problem. I stroll around listlessly and wiggle from left to right. Useless if anything. Luckily today only 20 km of walking. Caleb invited me to Malaysia today. Sounds like fun, to be honest. But it's not in the cards yet. I don't know why either. It is also a mystery to me why I do all this to myself again. Malaysia sounds really good now. I can already see it coming: Camino del Norte is going to be another month to slouch along. I would like to be in a good mood, but I can't. I probably only continue because there is no train station nearby. God, where are all these fucking pilgrims? Really nothing is going on here.

Coffee, coffee, coffee. I just want some more coffee. This delicious brew. At least two large mugs. Unbelievable thirst for coffee. The brain is crumbling. Decaffeinated zombie. Wandering through the undergrowth. But today I also want to test the Armagnac.

And there it was: one of those self-service stands where you could get coffee and leave a few pennies in the box. Drunk three cups with a bit of sugar. Now the world looks round again. I also met a German group from Trier and talked a bit to them. I already get what I want here. Even if not in the form I imagine. Now only an Armagnac for today, dear god, good company ahead and a nice girl in the long term that you proudly want to show around everywhere. What a dear gentleman you are, who gives me everything. And it can be exactly one publication. Now I'm looking forward to Tomek again and his amiable French mind. Le fôret d'oubli.
