23rd Hiking Day

I will probably be struck by lightning today after what I wrote yesterday. But the first half hour is still going well. On the way from Condome to I don't know yet. I still have to take care of accommodation. If things don't go well, I still have to run 33 kilometres to Eauze. Ammunitioned again earlier (a baguette stick, 150 g cheese, a tomato and a banana). Nothing is going on here. That's why my entries keep repeating themselves. At most, perhaps, that I have accepted the walk, whatever it will be. In good and bad times, we form a coherent structure. Yesterday I read another chapter in the French book. I really wonder for how long it works out! So far I've understood a lot, but maybe it's just a coincidence. I'm trembling when I think of the page where it knocks me out of the story and I don't understand anything. And that would be it with my big ambitions. I also got the second part of the book in a small bookstore in Condome. The bookseller blinked at me in astonishment behind his glasses, as I stood there in the doorway with my huge knapsack, quite bulky. But then I explained what I wanted and within three seconds he was picking the book out of an inconspicuous corner of the shop. Handed it to me just like that. 5 euros. That will do. The man knew his business. I can no longer deduce the colour of his glasses, but the blinking, an expression of his neutral professional competence, remains in my memory. Afterwards in the French restaurant for 20 euros (including tip) really awesome menu. With beer and panna cotta with jam. "Le Balcon" next to the cathedral. Can be recommended with good conscience. I can already see the restless Atlantic roaring on my right. But I'm getting too far ahead. Greetings from my expectations. And then yesterday I strolled through a cloister next to the cathedral. Alone with clasping hands behind my back. There was this backyard of a law firm where on the first floor the light was still on. It feels good to be a connoisseur of your profession. Working as a lawyer was also fun. I fondly remember my "closing plea" against Mr. Knobloch in front of Judge Schröder. Result: one warning ineffective, another one effective. How proud I was. What was the name of the case again? Should be R. ./. SHW. French doesn't have to rule out labour law. I want to learn things that I enjoy.
