6th Hiking Day

L'Estrade - I'm sitting here on a hilltop and looking down on a valley with forests and small villages. What sounds like the beginning of a rather cheesy novel is in fact reality. And what can I say: the moment I start to write, I can already hear the walking sticks behind me and the babbling of French pensioners. Almost like back then in Ploen. But that too will pass in a few minutes. What can I say? It's like Lord of the Rings. I can't always describe landscapes. I get bored of writing about it and bored of reading about it later. It does not answer a single important question. On the other hand, too bad that I actually don't have a really important question. Just now I thought to myself: does Ms. P. actually believe in God? But that's only semi-interesting. Caleb, old chap, keeps sending messages. I think that is largely a credit to him. By the way, two people said to me within 24 hours that I would find the right one at some point. Didn't even bring up this topic. Maybe I'm sweating out the need through my pores. I don't know why this is so obvious. Well, I'll be on my way again in a moment. Still 4 hours ahead of me. But first some rest here for a few minutes. The world can wait.
